To go or not to go

I recently received a "Save the Date" for my 10 year class reunion coming up in September. (Several months away I know, guess my former classmates are super organized) While I realize I've got several months to decide, I'm not sure I want to go. I really have no desire to engage in hours of small talk with 100+ plus people, most of which I haven't seen in nearly 10 years. I'd much rather be a fly on the wall and just observe with out actually participating.

I enjoyed High School, well most of it. But was so glad to leave the small town and all the crap that goes with it. Do I really want to go back for a night??

Any thoughts? Did/would you go to your reunion??

Eh, I went to mine last year - could have skipped it. I think 20 years will be much different, much more "grown-up"...10 seemed like the same cliques, same shit to talk about that we were 10 years ago.

Besides, maybe it's a day in Sept. that you would be attending J&J's wedding?

I got roped into helping planning my 10 year for this summer. I think it will be fun and if not, I will blow out of there. I say go!

I think I'd totally like to go. However, I think I say that because I'm secretly hoping that I won't be able to because I live in a different country... :-)
