I hope they're wrong

I am REALLY hoping that we do not get the 6-10 inches forecasted for our area. I'm really tired of winter in general, but I'm hoping and praying that we don't get pounded with the "blizzard like conditions" the weather man spoke of this morning.

You see, I've got about a million things to do tomorrow afternoon. On Wednesday morning, I have to be at the hospital by 6:30 am sharp! All of the wind and snow will not help me at all. I'm usually running about 5 minutes behind any given day, but Wednesday I can not be late! It's the first official clinical day and being late will not look good.

So, Mother Nature I beg of you, hold off on the storm. Direct it elsewhere. Or, keep it in the arctic where it belongs.

*UPDATE* 2/13/07
The university actually closed for the first time I can ever remember. And will remain closed until tomorrow at 11:30. Which means, no clincial for me. Yippee!!

You're sick of winter already? We've barely had a winter yet!!!! sheesh! (I wouldn't want the snow either, though, if I had to be somewhere that early on wed!)....but since I don't, I'm looking forward to the stuff!!!!

Now, I know those of you not in education will roll your eyes at me...but I am sick of not having school or my basketball games. As wonderful as not having to go to work and getting paid sounds it actually gets old fast and screws your entire semester and job up. I go back each day after a snow day and have the same pressures to produce standards met/test passing genius students and yet I have missed the precious days I need to do that. I love snow but I wish they would let us drive through it, get better busses:) What the hell do people in North Dakota do?
