Glory Days...

Tonight I had the pleasure of hanging out with some old friends from my college days. They were the boys who told me (and made me appreciate) all the gross jokes, how to really drink beer, and get semi-decent grades while having the time of my life. It's good to reminisce, re-connect, and pretend to be 21 years old again.

And to top it all off, Jed's still remains smoke free!!

I'm a believer!

I am totally in love with my new MAC eye shadow! It's actually been fun getting ready in the morning for the past two days. Who could have thought that 2 little containers could bring so much joy.

I'm already plotting my next visit to the MAC counter so I can add to Bronze and Nocturnelle. Mrs. Turtle, I do believe it is an addiction.

Nothin like it

There's nothing like a good butt kickin' at 9 am. There's a turbo kickboxing class that I always want to go to but never seem to be able to drag myself out of bed by 9 on a Saturday. But not today. I actually got to bed at a reasonable hour and was wide awake at 8, leaving no excuse. Now that I've had a good workout for the day, I feel I've earned my 5 lb. burrito at Chipotle.

(I wonder if the girl to the left eats at Chipotle?)

Yippee!!!

School is out for the next 25 days! And, I couldn't be more excited!! My mission for the next couple of weeks is to have as much fun as possible! Come January 8th, my life as I know it will come to an end. So if you're up for dinner, drinks, anything, let me know! Because come January, I'll be in class or in a hospital most of the time.

Just confirming what I always knew

You Are 40% Weird
Normal enough to know that you're weird...But too damn weird to do anything about it!
How Weird Are You?

I can't wait until Friday!!

I'm so excited. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is on TV. I think it's probably my favorite Christmas special. I'm a fan of Rudolph, Yukon Cornelius, and Hermey, but they're not why I like this cartoon so much. It was the land of the misfit toys! The spotted elephant is my favorite. He/She doesn't have a huge part in the show, but I always felt bad for him/her and I still have a special place in my heart for the pachyderm. I understand that it's probably not normal for an almost 28 year old to look forward to a cartoon, but it brought a smile to my face when I realized I hadn't missed it this year.

What's your favorite christmas special, past or present??

I hate re-runs!

I was so looking forward to two of my favorte Sunday night shows, The Family Guy and Brothers and Sisters. After rushing home from Dad's house to make it in the door and on the couch before 9pm, I turned it on just to find out they're both re-runs! What a let down. Perhaps I should have investigated before planning my evening around the TV. Guess it was a sign that I should be doing homework instead. What About Brian better be new tomorrow!

Thought of the day...

Why is it that guys' spend sooooo much time working out the upper half of their body that they ignore the bottom half? Really, don't they realize how ridiculous they look when they've got a torso the size of Hulk Hogan and the legs of an eight year-old? I've always contemplated this phenomenon, but today I saw a gentleman at the gym who just really looked awful. Clearly he must have been taking some sort of substance to get that big, but shouldn't it have done something for his legs as well? If you're gonna put that much time and effort into becoming enormous, wouldn't you want your legs to somewhat match or at least be proportionate?? Just a thought.

P.S. If I could have found a picture to post of this phenomenon I would have.

(Please note: In no way shape or form do I think that I am perfect, trust me. This was just an observation while spending 30 minutes on the elliptical)

What more could I want?

I have been a fan of just about anything chocolate for a long time. A few summers back I was pleasantly surprised by Hershey's Take 5. Everything you could ever want in a candy bar; chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, peanuts and pretzels. Well today, it got even better. A Hershey bar filled with peanut butter! It's wonderful! Especially for the girl who is guilty of dipping pieces of plain Hershey bars into the peanut butter jar. Now they've saved me a step. Bravo!

Guidance on Ohio's new smoking ban

Just an FYI to all interested parties. Last night, there was some discussion and disagreement as to when the newly passed smoking ban actually takes affect. After waking up and feeling like I smoked a pack myself, I decided to do some research. I know I'm quite excited for December 7th to arrive. No more waking up with my hair reaking like an ashtray!

Hope this helps clear the air ;-)
